Objectives (course unit)

The Student is able to work safely in the Laboratory and to use the correct measuring instruments and laboratory equipment. The Student is able to make qualitative and quantitative as well as basic electrochemistry. The Student is able to interpret and report the results of his / her work using information sources in the field of Chemistry

Content (course unit)

Fundamentals of safe laboratory work, dilution and preparation of solutions, ion reactions, gravimetric, titrimetric and electrochemical work

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2) (course unit)

Knowledge: The Student has followed the rules of the laboratory. The Student has completed all laboratory work and the reports are acceptable. The student has also passed the exams included in the course.
Completion: The student performs the given tasks under supervision / assistance.
Being: The student does not follow the agreed schedules. Takes responsibility for one's own performance and is able to give and receive feedback.

Assessment criteria, good (3-4) (course unit)

Knowledge: The student has followed the rules of the laboratory. The student has completed all laboratory work on schedule and demonstrated smooth work. The reports have been prepared in accordance with the instructions. The student has also passed the exams included in the course well.
Action: The student is able to choose the most appropriate procedure from different options and justify his / her choice
Being: The student is able to follow agreed schedules. Takes responsibility and commits not only to one's own activities but also to the group's activities and is able to give and receive feedback actively and constructively.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5) (course unit)

Knowledge: The Student has followed the rules of the laboratory. The student has completed all laboratory work according to the goals on schedule and has shown smooth work and worked in his / her work group under the guidance of others. The Reports are complete. The student's exam resistance is justified.
Action: The Student is able to search for different ways of working and solutions, justify their choices and try new ways of working.
Being: The Student is able to follow agreed schedules. Is able to co-operate responsibly, flexibly and constructively. Develops both personal and group interaction. Systematically uses feedback as a tool for personal and community professional growth
