Objectives (course unit)
The student knows and understands better the topic of some area of mechanical and production engineering, which will be discussed in the seminar. The variable-themed course deepens the knowledge acquired in other courses in mechanical engineering, and gives the participant the opportunity to learn more about the topic of the seminars. In addition, the student learns information acquisition, reporting and feedback skills in the seminar course.
Content (course unit)
Themes related to the topic of mechanical engineering, which will be discussed in more detail in the seminar. The variable-themed course deepens the skills acquired in other courses in mechanical engineering. The course is placed in elective studies.
Prerequisites (course unit)
Depending on the topic, the level of the course varies somewhat. Each implementation of the course is aimed at students with sufficient background knowledge.
Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2) (course unit)
The student identifies the most important basic concepts and quantities of the topic. The student is aware of the laws governing the subject and performs the given tasks, assisted if necessary.
Assessment criteria, good (3-4) (course unit)
The student knows the laws and quantities that govern the topic. The student performs the given tasks independently.
Assessment criteria, excellent (5) (course unit)
The student has a good command of all aspects of the topic and is able to apply his/her skills to various tasks in the topic
