Objectives (course unit)
After completing the study unit participant can:
Think about what is mentor/educator’s mindset?
Reflect how the mentor can encourage actor’s entrepreneurship, risk taking and motivation?
Think about how to minimize rigidity and bureaucracy?
Act based on the values, principles, and processes of individualization.
Design learning and assessment processes based on the qualification bases.
Plan and implement pedagogically sound learning processes in various learning environments.
Involve trainees in the various stages of designing the learning process.
Content (course unit)
During the course, we will seek to answer the following questions:
How to increase trainer’s leadership skills and creativity
How to improve trainer´s skills to give and receive feedback and feed forward skills (positive, constructive)
How to observe and analyze skills
How to manage conflicts in training
How to manage yourself
What are the stages of the learning process, and how can the processes be structured?
Assessment criteria, pass/fail (course unit)
The criteria for passing.
Structuring the relationships between the phenomena and concepts covered during the course. Applying, explaining, comparing, and analyzing contents from the viewpoint of a trainer of the trainers.
Knows the process and value basis for personalization and integrates it into their own/future field of training.
Justifies the design of the learning process and guidance from the viewpoint of pedagogy.
Being able to plan and choose suitable methods for their work and justify their choices as a trainer of the trainers. Applying the theory taught in the course when solving challenges and using the possibilities offered by the theory base in their work.
Designs a pedagogically sound and engaging learning process/course for their own field.
Giving and receiving active and constructive feedback. Evaluating issues from their own and their community’s viewpoints. Collaborating responsibly and being ready to develop communication skills.
Evaluates their own work, actions, and skills regarding the designing of the learning process.
