Objectives (course unit)

Student
- knows social values ​​and professional ethics and is able to describe their importance in the place of practice
- is able to work in a professional and inclusive interaction in the client's everyday life
- knows the various stages of normal human growth and development and is able to support clients based on this knowledge
- is able to identify the service needs of clients in different life situations
- become familiar with the different working methods of client work
- knows well-being and social security service systems related to the internship

- Ethical guidelines in the social field
- Education, client work and guidance
- Theories and starting points of social work and education

Assessment criteria, pass/fail (course unit)

Rejected: Student has not achieved a good level in relation to the goals of the internship (grade 3)
* The student does not master the basics of ethical competence.
* The student does not master the basics of customer work knowledge.
* The student does not recognize and can not define phenomena and basic concepts related to the field.
* The student does not assume professional responsibility for his / her activities at the internship.
Passed: The student has achieved the general objectives of the internship at a good level (3)
* During the internship the student acquires the basic skills of ethical competence.
* During the internship the student acquires the basic skills of client work skills.
* The student is able to identify and define phenomena and basic concepts related to the field.
* The student takes responsibility and undertakes not only his / her own activities, but also client work and internship activities.

Assessment methods and criteria

Harjoittelu arvioidaan suhteessa harjoittelun yleisiin tavoitteisiin (kompetenssit) . Opettajatutori ohjaaja antaa kirjallisen palautteen/arvioinnin tehdyistä raporteista.

Arviointi perustuu opiskelijan osaamisen arviointiin. Arvioinnissa selkiytetään myös opiskelijan ammatillisia tavoitteita eli mitä opiskelija osaa tässä vaiheessa ja mitä haasteita on edessäpäin.
