Objectives (course unit)

The student masters the principles and fundamentals of organizing a safe and lawful event.

The student is able to work in a production team, taking safety aspects into account, and can guide other production team members as well.

The student can make the necessary preparations for organizing a safe event.

The student understands the basics of crisis communication during an event.

Content (course unit)

The course focuses on the safe event technology and arrangements of larger public events but also addresses general work safety and the concept and principles of a safe space. The course is carried out in cooperation with a central service provider in the field of event safety. ETTE safety training materials are also used as support in the course.

Lectures, as well as group and individual exercise assignments.

Assessment criteria, pass/fail (course unit)

Pass:

The student demonstrates in writing or in a performance test:

*a substantial mastery of the principles and fundamentals of organizing a safe and lawful event
*the ability to work in a production team, taking safety aspects into account, and to guide other production team members as well
*a substantial ability to make the necessary preparations for organizing a safe event
*a substantial understanding of the basics of crisis communication during an event

Fail:
The student is unable to demonstrate all the competencies required for an approved performance.
