Objectives (course unit)
After completing the course, the student:
- is familiar with the roles, tasks, and professional titles of Bachelor of Hospitality Management graduates
- has become acquainted with the study methods, course contents, and learning environments of hospitality management studies
- recognises their own learning and study style and develops their skills
- is able to reflect on their own strengths and values

The student has some understanding of the Bachelor of Hospitality Management degree, its learning environment, and related professions. The student can identify types of tasks the degree prepares them for. The student recognises some study methods and systems used in universities of applied sciences.
Assessment criteria, good (3-4) (course unit)
The student is familiar with the Bachelor of Hospitality Management degree, its learning environment, and related professions. The student understands the key characteristics of the hospitality management professions and studies. They are aware of the types of tasks the degree prepares them for. The student is able to use common study methods and systems employed in universities of applied sciences. They can also evaluate their own time management during the course.
Assessment criteria, excellent (5) (course unit)
The student has gained a comprehensive understanding of the Bachelor of Hospitality Management degree, its learning environment, and related professions. The student is able to identify and evaluate the key characteristics of the hospitality management profession and studies. They are aware of the types of tasks the degree prepares them for and have the ability to assess their own career opportunities. The student is proficient in the study methods and systems used in universities of applied sciences. They are able to plan and evaluate their time management effectively during the course.
