Objectives (course unit)

Student is able to use the basic skills in water colour and acrylic painting. Student recognizes painting as a medium for contemporary art. Student is able to collaborate in an international student team.

Content (course unit)

The student learn basic skills of painting: outlining form on a two-dimensional surface, various colour and material exercises, basics of watercolor and acrylic painting. The course is a workshop consisting of exercises, independent painting and discussions. Sustainable development.

Assessment methods and criteria

Grading is based on your work, effort, attitude, class participation, and attendance & punctuality. The degree of difficulty and risk-taking of your projects will be of utmost importance in grading.
