Objectives (course unit)

After completing the course students are able to apply percentage calculation in various financial calculations, are able to count contribution margins, are able to use indexes, are able to make interest and compound interest calculations and are familiar with spreadsheets in making calculations.

Content (course unit)

Student will learn  to use percentage calculations effectively in various economy-related calculations,
to count contribution margins,
to use indexes,
to make interest and compound interest calculations
and to use functions in Excel.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2) (course unit)

The student can suit percantage calculation atleast to two different parts of this study field:
contributuon margins, indexes, currency conversions, short term and long term calculations.

Assessment criteria, good (3-4) (course unit)

The student can suit percantage calculation atleast to four different parts of this study field:
contributuon margins, indexes, currency conversions, short term and long term calculations.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5) (course unit)

The student can suit percantage calculation well to all different parts of this study field:
contributuon margins, indexes, currency conversions, short term and long term calculations.
Student can also define verbally, symbolically and graphically the most important concepts.
