Objectives (course unit)
The student knows the basics of organizing community water supply and the design principles of different parts of the water supply network.
Content (course unit)
Design of water and sewage networks and pumping stations. Water supply, treatment and storage. Sewage treatment processes, sludge treatment and plant monitoring. Importance of water supply for the environment and society, as well as maintenance and renovation work.

Literature: Handout and literature at the beginning of the course. Teaching methods: Independent study / distance learning, exercises, assignments, exam, group study and fieldwork (including study trips). Language of instruction: Finnish

The student is able to identify and define the basics of the course and solve simple questions
applications that are similar to the tasks being handled
