Objectives (course unit)

Students is able to use basic sound design techniques and tools for games, interactive media, tv and films. Student is able to collaborate in an international student team.

- image and sound narration
- recording effects and narration in and outside the studio
- synchronisation of sound and image
- using current techniques and tools needed for production

Completion alternatives

Ask for possibilities for using your own sound design projects as course assignments. Missing classes can be compensated by doing extra essays and/or assignments. It is going to harder, though, not easier.

Most assignments are done with headphones, so bring your own if possible.

It is possible to do the course online, but beware, most attention is paid to those who are physically present.

Student hands in the assignments. Assignments shows decent skills. Student attend at least 40% of classes. Student shows decents participation in classes.
