Objectives (course unit)

The student is able to
-Analyse media from the end user experience perspective
-Use basic concepting work methods and practices in the media development field
-Collaborate in an international student team.

- Benchmarking
- Basic theories and practises of user-centered design
- Brainstorming and team working methods and practises
- Sustainable development

Location and time

Contact teaching in Mediapolis, some course days on Zoom. All the course days require active participation, most common learning method is workshop. Lessons are not recorded.

Teachers instruct about the materials during the course.

Student workload

In addition to the lessons, the students work with the tasks and research report as well.

Content scheduling

Design thinking. Ideation methods, team working, benchmarking and AI basics. Information searching, introduction to academic writing. Collaboration and presentation skills.
