Objectives (course unit)

The studenst can describe the structure of wood and allocations of textile fibers. The students understands the common production processes of regenerated celloloses and mechanical pulps as well as different recycling methods. The student knows the most important fiber ptoperties.The student understands the importance of the circular economy and the applications for the processing of wood and textile fibers.

Content (course unit)

Wood and woodfiber structure and properties, different textile fibers.Production of regenerated celloloses and their properties. Mechanical pulps and recycled pulps.Crcular Economy applications.
