Objectives (course unit)

The students gain the basic skills needed to communicate by using construction drawings.

The student will be able to use the basic software needed for the studies and to produce documents with them, and will learn to use TAMK's information network services. The student learns to search independently for relevant literature.

Content (course unit)

In order to produce and interpret construction drawings, the students learn the marking methods, graphics and the practices of the construction industry. The students also learn the basics of AutoCAD software.

Use of TAMK web services, security, computer structure, data networks and communications, book exam, lesson exercises, homework, style usage, SFS document standard layout, image and other content insertion and layout, header and table, tables, page settings, spell checking, hyphenation and language, spreadsheet (MS Excel), basic formulas, operator usage, print settings, layout, graphs, trend line, regression line, macros, buttons and combo box, copying and OLE Word and Excel, presentation graphics (MS PowerPoint), simple presentation, basic and title style , slide structure, image insertion and layout, PDF (Adobe Acrobat and Reader).

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2) (course unit)

The student is able to identify and define the basics of the course and solve simple questions
applications that are similar to the tasks being handled.

Assessment criteria, good (3-4) (course unit)

In addition to the above, the student is able to choose the most suitable one by applying and comparing different options
policy and justify their choices.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5) (course unit)

In addition to the above, the student has a comprehensive understanding of the course topics and their use
problem solving; and the ability to present, analyze, and justify logically handled issues and methods of solution.
