Objectives (course unit)
The student is able to describe the different manufacturing methods, properties and uses of nonwovens.
The student shows an understanding of the quality requirements of the end product and is able to make suitable choices concerning the raw material, manufacturing and finishing methods.

The student is able to define nonwovens and their most common manufacturing processes and is able to name the applications of nonwovens.

The student is able to solve simple problems that are comparable to the tasks covered in the course.

The student is able to explain the manufacturing processes of nonwovens and their properties and is able to compare the quality and use of different nonwovens in different applications.
