Objectives (course unit)
The student is able to apply knowledge and skills in the practical expert tasks relating to their professional studies in building services engineering. The student is able to show their capability for independent, long-span and target-oriented research work. Student is revealing in-depth handling of the topic they have chosen and outlines and reports work according to the requirements set for the bachelor's. The student is capable for independent information search, know how to apply the knowledge into practice and to gives development suggests to the client of the bachelor thesis. The thesis must show familiarity with the topic of the thesis, mastery of the research methods needed as well as professional communication.
Content (course unit)
The students usually choose the topic for the bachelor's thesis themselves. The bachelor's thesis must focus on a topic, which is relevant for tasks which form the basis of the degree programme. It can be a part of a single or multidisciplinary project or research. Bachelor's thesis orientation is a mandatory part of the course.
