Objectives (course unit)
The student
-is able to write the bachelor's thesis
-is able to present and defend the thesis professionally and theoretically
-is able to act as an opponent in a professional manner
-is able to justify his/her bachelor’s thesis in the maturity test
-is able to express him/herself formally in Finnish, Swedish or English, according to the requirements of the bachelor's thesis

Prerequisites (course unit)
The student has participated in the courses on Orientation to the Bachelor's Thesis and Implementation of the Bachelor's Thesis Process.
Assessment criteria, pass/fail (course unit)
Pass
The student
- presents his/her own bachelor’s thesis in a seminar
- acts as an opponent to another student’s thesis
- actively participates in his/her own group’s bachelor’s thesis seminars
- passes the maturity test
- makes a poster presentation about his/her thesis
- returns the completed thesis through the Urkund-system to the supervising teacher
Fail
The student
- does not present his/her own bachelor’s thesis in a seminar or does not act as an opponent to another student’s thesis
- does not participate in his/her own group’s bachelor’s thesis seminar
- does not pass the maturity test
- does not deliver a poster about his/her thesis
- does not return a completed thesis through the Urkund-system to the supervising teacher
The bachelor’s thesis is assessed numerically as a whole according to the assessment criteria of TAMK's thesis.
