Objectives (course unit)

Student
- develops as a specialist in his / her field
- applies his / her knowledge and skills in working life specialist positions
- conducts a thesis project, applying what he / she has learned and is able to independently learn new things
- deepens his / her own professional skills and develops to be independently responsible for work projects
- is able to evaluate his / her own competence and supplement his / her competence areas appropriately
- is able to apply information acquisition methods in his / her field
- is able to report his / her results in the form of a thesis
- is able to demonstrate his / her knowledge of the field and proficiency in Finnish or Swedish with a maturity test.

The bachelor's thesis may be a designing task, development task, clarification task or a research task.

- acquisition of a topic for thesis project
- kick-off meeting
- thesis plan
- thesis implementation
- reporting and presenting the thesis in a seminar and as a poster
- maturity test showing knowledge of the field and proficiency in Finnish or Swedish.
