Objectives (course unit)
Kurssilla aktivoidaan suullista suomen kielen taitoa ja rohkaistutaan käyttämään suomen kieltä. Kurssin tavoitteena on, että opiskelija saa varmuutta suulliseen viestimiseen, kuten mielipiteensä ilmaisemiseen ja perustelemiseen. Opiskelija tutustuu ajankohtaisiin aiheeseen suomenkielisessä mediassa ja kasvattaa samalla sanavarastoaan.

Exam schedules
No exam. The course consists of weekly meetings and in order to pass the course the students must participate regularly and actively to the meetings.
Assessment methods and criteria
For completion of the course the student must attend at least six of the eight zoom meetings, take actively part in conversations and read the given materials for each meeting.

Teaching methods
Zoom-meetings. Students are given orientation materials to study before meetings so that they are prepared to discuss about given topics.

Student workload
1 credit. Participating in weekly meetings and orientation to the discussions before hand.
