Objectives (course unit)

The student is able to
-Analyse media from the end user experience perspective
-Use basic concepting work methods and practices in the media development field
-Collaborate in an international student team.

Location and time

First week of the course is organised as contact teaching in Mediapolis. Distance learning during second week is organised on Zoom. Change of plan is possible. All the course days require active participation, most common learning method is workshop. Lessons are not recorded.

Teachers instruct about the materials during the course.

Student workload

In addition to the online lessons, the students work with the tasks and research report as well.

Content scheduling

User experience design and design thinking basics. Ideation methods, team working, benchmarking, Information searching, introduction to academic writing. Collaboration and presentation skills.

22.-25.8.2022 and 29.8. - 1.9.2022 then course continues in until end of October.
