Objectives (course unit)

Students
-know the national legislation and instructions from authorities and EU-instructions governing optimization of patients’ radiation exposure
-know the measuring methods of radiation exposure
-know how to optimize patients’ radiation exposure in x-ray examinations
-are able to determine the patients’ dose (ESD, DAP, effective dose) in x-ray examinations and report the results
