Objectives (course unit)

Students
-know the quality assurance methods ordained by the legislation governing radiation
-are able to perform the legislative quality assurance measurements fairly

Content (course unit)

-technical quality assurance of radiological equipment and devices and measurement report
-radiation legislation and regulatory guides, regulations and decisions on quality assurance of the mission of the Radiation and Nuclear Safety Authority (STUK)

Prerequisites (course unit)

-adequate knowledge about the technique of imaging

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2) (course unit)

-know the quality assurance methods ordained by the legislation governing radiation in general and can perform the legislative quality assurance measurements
-shortcoming or factual errors in the technical quality assurance report
-the layout of the technical quality assurance report does not meet the standards of TAMK

Assessment criteria, good (3-4) (course unit)

-know the quality assurance methods ordained by the legislation governing radiation and can perform and evaluate the legislative quality assurance measurements
-minor faults in the technical quality assurance report
-the technical quality assurance report is written according to the standards of TAMK

Assessment criteria, excellent (5) (course unit)

-know the quality assurance methods ordained by the legislation governing radiation and can perform the legislative quality assurance measurements and justify the measurement results in the report
-the technical quality assurance report is written according to the standards of TAMK
