Objectives (course unit)

- recognize the dimensions of functional capacity and are able to evaluate, support and promote human functional capacity
- is able to justify the importance of social function in the whole functional capacity is familiar with the individual and communal aspects of old age, and the way in which services for older people are implemented and the legislative framework
- knows and recognizes the starting points and different stages of the interaction process
- can meet people in different life situations, establish professional interaction and cooperation relationship, and develop and reflect their own interaction skills theoretically

- management of functional knowledge and assessment of physical, mental and social performance, assessment tools
- taking health, safety and well-being into account in different settings

Assessment criteria, pass/fail (course unit)

Rejected (0):
- Knowledge objectives are not or only partially achieved. Content management is inconsistent and incomplete or / and incorrect. Relationship to knowledge borrowing.
-The student interacts with the elderly person and / or his / her network in an inappropriate, unethical or unprofessional manner that is judged to be a clear disincentive to everyday life or safety.

- The student structures the relations between phenomena and concepts related to functional ability.
- Apply concepts of ability and involvement to everyday perceptions and activities.
- Attends a weekly meeting with your elderly partner as well as planning, preparing and running a Christmas party.
