Objectives (course unit)

Students
-are aware of the types of cancer and their treatment
-know the principles of pain treatment
-know how to meet dying patients and their relatives

-the most common types of cancer and their treatment
-pain in cancer and patient care
-palliative care
-meeting with dying patients

Prerequisites (course unit)

-Radiotherapy Equipment and Radiation Protection in Radiotherapy where applicable
-Planning of Radiotherapy where applicable

-can name the most general cancers of the Finns and their care forms
-can describe the care and encounter with seriously ill and/or dying patients
