Objectives (course unit)
Students develop new solutions to the epic challenge of sustainable human habitations of Mars
During the two semester long program students study and apply the ICED methodology (Innovative Conceptual Engineering Design), which is an innovation process used at NASA.
Credit points about 10 according to agreement with supervisor.

5K00CU15 NASA Project, part 1 and 5K00EK48 NASA Project, part 2 courses are subject to an annual application procedure. The courses are also suitable for exchange students in mechanical engineering.
Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2) (course unit)
The student applies the main principles, basic concepts and tools of project activity. The student is only somewhat motivated, takes responsibility for his / her own performance and gives and receives feedback. Understanding of the topic and is able to apply knowledge.

The student apply well the most important principles, basic concepts and tools of project activity, and is able to justify their learning.
