Objectives (course unit)

The goal is that after completing the course, the student is going to know the basics of image processing and understand the basics of graphic design and usability.

Content (course unit)

The basics of image processing,
the basic tools and how to use those and
the basics of graphic design and usability.
The basics of digital drawing and vector graphics.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2) (course unit)

The student is able to know the basic principles of graphic design and usability.
The student is able to know the basics of digital graphics and image processing.
The student is able to know the basic use of tools used in image processing.

Assessment criteria, good (3-4) (course unit)

The student is able to utilize basic concepts of graphic design and usability.
The student is able to produce quality graphics suitable for different purposes.
The student is able to use different working methods in different situations.
The student is able to know how to use the tools used in image processing.
The students is able to find new information and apply it to their own work.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5) (course unit)

The student is able to control and apply the basic concepts of graphic design and usability in the work.
The student is able to control and use different working methods.
