- are able to write using technical standards and recommendations
Content (course unit)
This course includes garage basic jobs. These are done in teams including the report and result assessment. The course includes technical writing and an abstract in English.
Examples: Wheel angle measurement, tire jobs, wheel balancing, official exhaust gas emission measurement, vehicle air condition system maintenance.
Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2) (course unit)
Student is able to recognise and specify different kind of measurement methods when analysing vehicle systems. Student is working in a group and knows his interaction skills. Student also recognises basic working methods.
Assessment criteria, good (3-4) (course unit)
Student is able to compare different measurement methods. Student can also choose best method for measurement and can explain why he/she has
Assessment criteria, excellent (5) (course unit)
To understand the wide range of vehicle systems. Know how to choose just a specific problem of a suitable method of measurement and to create new methods of measurement. Able to cooperate in a responsible, flexible and constructive. To develop their own and the group interaction.
Assessment methods and criteria
Laboratory work is done in teams including the report and result assessment. Students will make a report from every laboratory work. Every report will be returned to teacher not later than two weeks aften the work is done. If report is returned after three weeks it will be failed.
