Social and Health Care and Rehabilitation Environment (3 cr)

Objectives (course unit)

After completing the module, the student will have a research-based understanding of social, health and rehabilitation systems at a political, practical and consumer level.
The student knows the principles of a welfare state and the basic principles of legislation and political guidance that govern the social, health and rehabilitation service system.
The student has a basic understanding of the social, health and rehabilitation services system in a changing environment. They know the different ways in which services are provided and the economic conditions that govern them.
The student has an understanding of the various occupations of social and health care and rehabilitation and their multi-disciplinary work for clients.
The student is able to examine the functioning of the service system from the customer's point of view.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2) (course unit)

The student
- is able to name the concepts of the social, health and rehabilitation service system and is able to describe the main principles of its function..

Assessment criteria, good (3-4) (course unit)

The student
- is able to specify the service production of the social health and rehabilitation service system and the responsibilities from an organizational point of view.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5) (course unit)

The student
- is able to describe and specify the suitability and manner of organisation of the social, health and rehabilitation service system in accordance with the individual needs of the client.

Exam schedules

Opintojakso arvioidaan itsearvioinnin ja tehtävien perusteella. Yksi yksilötehtävä on lisäksi numeerisesti arvioitava.

Assessment methods and criteria

Opintojakso arvioidaan 0-5 asteikolla. Kaikki tehtävät tulee olla suoritettuna 8.5.2022 mennessä. Arviointi koostuu itsearvioinnista ja tehtävistä. Yksi yksilötehtävä on lisäksi numeerisesti arvioitava.

Teaching methods

Verkkototeutus. Opintojakso suoritetaan kokonaisuudessaan verkossa itsenäisenä opiskeluna ja ryhmätyöskentelynä.

Itsenäinen työskentely, verkkoluennot, verkkotestit, mind map, vuorovaikutus verkossa, case-työskentely.

Orientaatio opintojaksolle pakollinen.
Moodlekurssi aukeaa 8.3.2022 orientaation jälkeen.
