Objectives (course unit)
The students know the principles and practices of different event productions. They are able to structure an event production from an idea into the actual event. The students are able to define the tasks of an event production and understand their own task as a part of the production group.
Content (course unit)
Different event production types. Design process and tasks of event production. The course is carried out by creating an event.
Assessment criteria, pass/fail (course unit)
The student participates in the teaching and does the given tasks and exercises.
The student does not participate fully in the teaching and does not prepare the given tasks.
Location and time
The study is conducted as an online course.
Lecture schedules are agreed separately with the participants.
- 2021: First meeting on 9 April.
Exam schedules
The course is completed by attending lectures and completing written assignments related to the course.
Assessment methods and criteria
The evaluation of the course is based on participation in lectures, acceptable implementation of preliminary assignments and participation in discussion of topics in meetings.

The course includes 6-7 contact teaching sessions, 2 hours / time (lectures, and reviews of production and work plan topics), as topics

Prerequisite for the first lecture: Your relationship to producing the event
Preliminary assignment for the second lecture: Thoughts on applying for grants and making applications

Final assignment: Self-reflecting final report

Practical training and working life cooperation
The course includes the student's work of about 2 weeks on his / her own production.
NOTE: Due to the corona situation in 2021, this option will not be exercised.

Rejected: student does not actively participate in teaching.
