Project Studies (10 cr)

Objectives (course unit)

The student acquires / receives an assignment from the ICT sector, which is implemented as a project.
The student learns to plan his/her work.
The student learns to evaluate and monitor his/her workload in the project.
The student demonstrates the ability to apply project management doctrines to the subject
project.

Content (course unit)

Working either alone or in a project group with a task in an ICT field.
The project is documented according to the instructions given.
Credits 1-10 cr depending on the project.

Approved performance requires project planning, documentation, and implementing according to assignment.

Assessment methods and criteria

Arvioidaan projektisuunnitelma, projektin dokumentointi ja toimeksiantoa vastaava toteutus. Lopullista toteutusta verrataan myös projektiin kuluneeseen aikaan.

Projektioppiminen, yhteistoiminnallinen oppiminen, ongelmalähtöinen oppiminen.

Valikoituu toteutettavan projektin perusteella eri lähteistä.

Student workload

Ajankäyttö ja kuormitus riippuvat toteutettavan projektin laajuudesta (1 op = 27 h). Olettaen, että projekti on esim. 5 opintopisteen laajuinen, sen eteen on tehtävä töitä 135 tuntia projektin aikana.
