Objectives (course unit)
Students
-know the basic concepts, structure and operation principles of radiological equipment and auxiliary equipment
-know the principles of imaging
-know the factors affecting the formation and quality of x-rays and how they can be affected in x-ray examinations
-know the principles of safe operation of radiation in x-rays and comply with them
-know the principles of image archiving and the function of patient record systems and are committed to comply with privacy protection
-can use digital imaging equipment and auxiliary equipment safely

-function and operation of radiological equipment and auxiliary equipment
-factors affecting the quality of x-rays and factors affecting the dose of radiation
-basic training in lab class

-can name the basics of imaging and the formation of x-rays
-can describe the principles of safe operation of radiation in x-ray examinations
-in general, can use digital imaging equipment and auxiliary equipment in the lab class

-can explain the basics of imaging as well as the factors affecting the formation and quality of x-rays
-know the principles of safe operation of radiation in x-rays examinations
-can use digital imaging equipment and auxiliary equipment safely in the lab class
Assessment criteria, excellent (5) (course unit)
-know and can reasonably explain the basics of imaging as well as the factors affecting the formation and quality of x-rays
-know and can justify how the formation and the quality of the x-ray as well as the dose of radiation can be affected in x-ray examinations
-know the principles of safe operation of radiation in x-rays and can apply them to practice
-can use digital imaging equipment and auxiliary equipment safely in the lab class
