Objectives (course unit)
The student will be able to analyse and present own working process, and anticipate other's interpretation of sketches and ideas in a fine art context.
Content (course unit)
Student works independently with a sketchbook. The student concentrates on their creative process through drawing and developing their ideas.
Feedback is given from a tutor and other students during group seminars.
Location and time
The course starts on Tuesday 19 of January at 16:00 online in Zoom. On the course each student will be working with sketching independently in 2 sketchbooks (each 40 pages). For every week there will be given a theme and students upload to Moodle the given amount of pages. Themes will be varied, for example based to observation, medium or concept. The uploading deadline is every Monday at 18.00.
During the course, three feedback seminars will be organized, where the student will receive feedback from the other students and the teacher.

SKETCHBOOK = THE DRAWING BOOK
Drawing is the most immediate expression of seeing, thinking and feeling, a tool for investigating ideas, a recorder of knowledge, and a reflector of experiences.
Your working process should also include practical exploration and explanation of materials and techniques.
In this sketchbook you work only with freehand drawing, not digital drawing.
