Student is able to
- use advanced sound design techniques for film
- use essential surround recording and mixing techniques
- collaborate in an international student team.
Content (course unit)
- Genres of film music and analysing the role of music in images
- Know the differences in approach to music and film mixing
- Premastering stereo material to surround-format
- Arranging and producing

Student is able to:
- analyze and verbalize sound design for a short fiction
- compose simple musical scores for a short fiction
- use basic editing and mixing techniques for movie sound
- collaborate in an international student team.
Student knows the basics of film sound theory and use of music in movies

To be able to succesfully attend the course, student MUST have done courses: Introduction to Sound Design and Audio Technology Basics
If not student must show that he/she can use a DAW and understands signal flow and microphones.
