Objectives (course unit)

The goal of the bachelor's thesis is to develop and show the students’ ability to apply their knowledge and skills in the practical expert tasks relating to their professional studies. During the bachelor's thesis process the students prove themselves to be capable of working independently, of applying what they have learned and of learning new things independently.

Content (course unit)

Content:
Thesis is an independent development work. The chosen topic must be closely connected to the software engineering studies. Typically the bachelor's thesis consists of the actual work, a written report and an oral presentation of the work. In order to receive the degree, the students must write a maturity test about their chosen field of final thesis. The maturity test shows familiarity with the field and language skills. The students will also present the work in a seminar.
