Objectives (course unit)

Students
- understand the significance of a project in the implementation of a strategy
- are able to plan, implement, and assess a project
- can make a budget plan for their project
- know the basics of meeting and negotiation skills and can apply them in the planning and implementation of the project

Content (course unit)

- Process and management of a project
- Evaluation of a project
- Financing and budget
- Searching for financing methods on a national and EU level
- Stages and documents of meetings and negotiations
- Effective speaking and presentation and the importance of argumentation

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2) (course unit)

The student has sufficiently achieved the knowledge and skills objectives set for the course. He / she knows the basic concepts of project life cycle and project work and recognizes the responsibilities and roles of the project organization. They are aware of the importance of a project plan from the perspective of the project lifecycle and are aware of the importance of communication and documentation in project work. The student recognizes the importance of project monitoring, evaluation and quality assurance as part of project implementation.

Assessment criteria, good (3-4) (course unit)

The student has achieved well-defined knowledge and learning objectives and skills in the course. They are able to explain the importance of a project plan from the perspective of the project life cycle and to structure the importance of communication and documentation in project work. The student is able to explain the importance of project monitoring, evaluation and quality assurance as part of project implementation and is able to compare different project financing forms and financing processes.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5) (course unit)

The student has excelled in the knowledge and skills of the course. They will be able to analyze the basic concepts of project life cycle and project work, responsibilities and roles of a project organization in relation to developing professional skills. They will be able to analyze the significance of a project plan from the perspective of the project life cycle and will be able to analyze and analyze the importance of communication and documentation in a project context. The student is able to analyze and develop project monitoring, evaluation and quality as part of project work and to compare different project financing forms and financing processes.

Location and time

Kurssin orientaatio Zoomissa 2.9 klo 13-15.

Tehtävät (6 kpl) vaativat syvällistä teoriaan perehtymistä, joten huomioithan tämän aikatauluttaessasi opintojaksoa.

Exam schedules

Toteutuksen suoritukset tulee olla tehtynä 30.11.21 mennessä.
