Objectives (course unit)
The student is able to
- interpret technical documents
- utilize CAD software to produce technical documents
- describe the principles of conventional electronic building solutions
- document conventional electronic building technology solutions in residential construction
- select the accessories needed for installation on the basis of technical documentation
Content (course unit)
Technical documentation for building services and related guidelines and standards. Basic functions of CAD software and use in electrical design. Accessories for electrical installations. Conventional wiring and basic installations and documentation.
Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2) (course unit)
The student uses the basic functions of electrical engineering software, but there are shortcomings in using it and keeping to schedules is challenging.
The student has participated in assignments, but the work is schematic.
The student recognizes the most common drawing marks used in electrotechnical documents and knows how to combine them with concrete products
Assessment criteria, good (3-4) (course unit)
The student is able to use electrical engineering software smoothly and generally stays well on schedule. Minor shortcomings may occur.
The student has actively participated in the exercises and promoted group activities.
The student is thoroughly familiar with the drawing symbols used in electrical engineering documents and understands the principles of basic connections. However, the documents produced by the student mainly follow the example examples.
Assessment criteria, excellent (5) (course unit)
Students work responsibly and according to agreed schedules.
The student uses the electrical design software in an appropriate and expedient manner and works on schedule. The documents produced by the student are flawless.
The student is able to apply example documents and use them to produce his / her own electrotechnical documents.
Location and time
Opetus ajoittuu syksyn ensimmäiselle periodille. Tarkemmat ajoitukset ja paikat ilmoitetaan kurssin alussa koronatilanne huomioiden.
Exam schedules
Tenttien päivämäärät sovitaan yhdessä kurssin alussa jollekin monimuoto-opiskelun lähikerralle.
Kurssin suorituksia otetaan vastaan vuoden 2020 loppuun asti.
Assessment methods and criteria
Suunnitteluohjelmistolla tehtävä tentti kurssin lopussa. Lisäksi arvosanan saamiseksi on teorialuentoihin pohjautuvat Moodle-tentit oltava tehtynä.
Kurssin suorituksia otetaan vastaan vuoden 2020 loppuun asti.
Assessment scale
0-5
Teaching methods
Opetus koostuu teoriapainoitteisesta luennoinnista ja CADS-ohjelmistolla tehtävistä harjoituksista.
Learning materials
Alan standardit ja ST-kortisto
Cadmaticin opetusmateriaalit
Student workload
3 op. vastaa noin 81 tunnin työkuormaa. Lähikertoja on syksyn ensimmäisen periodin ajan perjantaisin kaksi tuntia. Loppu opiskelu tapahtuu omatoimisesti annettujen harjoitusten ja kurssimateriaalien avulla.
Content scheduling
Kurssi alkaa teoriapainoitteisella sisällöllä, jonka jälkeen siirrytään CADS-ohjelmistolla tehtäviin harjoituksiin.
Completion alternatives
AHOT-suoritus mahdollista erikseen kurssin alussa sovittaessa.
