Objectives (course unit)
Students
- are familiar with different suitable research and data acquisition methods for physiotherapy
- can use Finnish and international sources in planning their own thesis
- prepare empirical data acquisition in connection to their own thesis topic following scientific principles
- know and can use different theorethical models that structure physiotherapy

Assessment criteria, pass/fail (course unit)
A passed mark requires the completion of all assigned tasks. For each task the student shows realistic and goal-oriented application of the materials and other content to their own thesis topic.
In a failed mark, tasks or or a part of tasks have been left incomplete, or the contents are inadequate of flawed.
