Objectives (course unit)

Opiskelija osaa:
- analyysimittausten perusteet teollisuusprosessien ja ympäristönsuojelun kannalta
- analyysimittausten laitteet ja erityisvaatimukset
- sellu- ja paperiteollisuuden mittaukset sekä niissä tarvittavat laitteistot.

Content (course unit)

Prosessiteollisuuden analyysimittauksia, mm. tiheys, viskositeetti, kosteus, pH, ja johtavuus. Kaasuanalysaattorit. Sellu- ja paperiteollisuuden erikoismittauksia, mm. sakeus ja paperin laatusuureet.

Distance teaching classes as per the given time schedule.

Exam schedules

The exam is informed in the beginnig of the course. The failed course can be compensated by passing a new exam.

Evaluation methods and criteria

Student performance assessment is based on completed home excercises and a passed exam.

Lectures, notes made by a student, other referred material by a lecturer.

Student workload

The total working hours for passing the course is ca. 80 hours (3 cp x 1600 h/ 60 cp). Distance teaching requiring 27 hours, a student has to reserve about 53 hours for self-learning.

Content scheduling

The course contains distance teaching nearly on a weekly basis. The more detailed course structure is treated in the first class and it will be available in the course information on Moodle afterwards.
