Objectives (course unit)
The student has a research plan for the thesis and has had a thesis seminar with the supervisor or in a group.
Content (course unit)
Independently carrying out the first part of the Master's thesis, a thesis seminar, individual guidance and supervision.
Location and time
The thesis seminar timings are agreed with the supervisors and study team colleagues.
Exam schedules
The final part is the maturity test. Instructions are given separately.

Teaching methods
This is one part of the thesis process. The Master's thesis process consists of individual work, discussions with the supervisor and seminars in thesis groups.

Student workload
30 credits equals about half a year of work for the thesis.

Master's thesis is a development work ideally conducted for the student's own organisation.
Further information
Thesis reports are public. Usage of nonpublic material requires a contract between TAMK and the target organization.
Students have to write a maturity test on the field of the thesis to demonstrate their familiarity with the field.
