Objectives (course unit)
The student
- knows the history, structure, principles, service deliveries and basic legislation of the social-, health- and rehabilitation systems
- knows in general the practices of the social and health care professions
- knows the actual challenges of the social-, health- and rehabilitation systems.
Content (course unit)
- the ideology of welfare and its development
- guiding principles of the central legislation
- official control of the professions of social and health care
- public politics
- the structure and options of the service system (public, private and third sector)
- the basic concepts and questions of the economy
- the challenges of service integration, ageing, client-focus, technology, digitalisation, medicalisation, multi-culturalism and economics
Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2) (course unit)
The student
- is able to name the concepts of the social, health and rehabilitation service system and is able to describe the main principles of the system.
Assessment criteria, good (3-4) (course unit)
The student
- is able to name the concepts of the social health and rehabilitation service system and is able to describe the main principles of the system.
Assessment criteria, excellent (5) (course unit)
The student
- is able to describe and specify the suitability and manner of organisation of the social, health and rehabilitation service system in accordance with the individual needs of the client.
