Objectives (course unit)
Students have a deep understanding of the work as a dancer. They have strengthened their skills in body expression. They have reached the skills level required to be able to work as a theatre musician.

- students produce own movement material and is able to adapt to the various styles in dance

Dance:
- analytical reflection and deeper understanding of own work as a dancer
- deeper understanding of dance expression and improvisation as tools of dancer

Student workload
Attendance 80%. Requires commitment and regular participation to lessons and independent training. Master classes are important part of education.
Content scheduling
Teaching continues steadily throughout the year, except period-weeks, when there is no regular lessons.

NOTE!
Dance instruction is carried out in level groups of three.
Level I is basic
Level II is intermediate and
level III is advanced/ possibly completed professional studies or equivalent.
The student implements his/ her dance studies in a level group corresponding to his/ her own competence, which is definied for him/her by the dance teacher. The student can change the level group with the consent of the teacher, but the level group may not change during the studies.

Dance
Students can perform required professional level choreography moderately. Their artistic and technique expression and body control is satisfactory. Body use in movements is not versatile enough. Technique ja expressive mastering of larger entities is adequate.

Dance
Students manage their body performance technically and artistically and disclose different styles and characteristics. Their body control and expression is moderately diverse, and mastering and perceiving of larger entities is good. The presence is good.

Dance
Students indicate an excellent technical skills, artistic and individual conception in their body performance and movement. They adduce different styles and characteristics particular impressive way. Students have adopted rich and strong expressive abilities and they can execute challenging choreographies and entireties. The presence and the performing is strong and spontaneous. Students can provide their own material in movement.
