Objectives (course unit)
Student is able to:
- listen music analytically and define popular music styles
- write songs invidually and in co-write sessions
- work as a member of a international team
- divide roles in co-write sessions (ie.topliner,lyricist and tracker)

1) orientation, introductions, agreeing implementation, setting first teams and starting the writing
2) Workshop with guest Lectures
4) Co-write week in Leeuwarden in November, in PXL on February and in Tamk on April
5) Pitch at Eurosonic, Hasselt and Tampere

NOTE! Students must have prior experience in song writing before entering this course.
Assessment criteria - satisfactory (1-2) (Not in use, Look at the Assessment criteria above)
Student hands in the assignments. Assignments shows descent skills. Student attend at least 40% of classes. Student shows descents participation in classes.
Assessment criteria - good (3-4) (Not in use, Look at the Assessment criteria above)
Student hands most of the assignments in time. Assignments shows good skills. Student attend at least 60% of classes. Student shows active participation in classes.

Student hands all assignments in time. All the assignments shows exceptional skills. Student attend at least 80% of classes. Students shows very active participation in classes.
