Objectives (course unit)

The student knows the basics of the production methods and systems. He knows the demands set by the essential production methods when designing products for manufacture. He knows, how to design a machined, welded, casted or sheet metal part taking into account the point of views of producibility and tools. He knows the principles of design for manufacture. He understands the demands set by quality accurance and measuring.

Content (course unit)

Production methods of the central and demands set by them and possibilities in the planning of making kind products. Mechanization, welding, casting, ohutlevy, tool plannings. Making kind planning. Measuring of the quality and backup methods and quality assurance systems and quality plans.

Prerequisites (course unit)

Prerequisites: Student knows basic of machine engineering materials and production methods and systems as well student knows the principals of product development process and is able to design mechanical machine parts.
