Supervised Clinical Training 3 (6cr)

Objectives (course unit)

The student
- is able to communicate professionally with patients, their significant others and colleagues by observing nursing values and principles;
- is able to support, guide and empower patients' self-care and help patients in their daily activities by using safe nursing interventions;
- is able to monitor the patient's vital signs to identify the patient's basic needs;
- is able to make a nursing plan for his/her own patient in a holistic way, and give an oral and written report;
- is able to work ergonomically and follow aseptic principles;
- is able to safely implement patients' medication and fluid therapy under supervision;
- is able to plan his/her own personal learning outcomes and evaluate his/her learning during the clinical training;
- is able to identify his/her own development challenges.

Prerequisites (course unit)

- 30 ects of initial stage studies completed
- Supervised Clinical Training 1 and 2 completed
- theory and orientation related to the course completed

Assessment methods and criteria

Ohjattu harjoittelu arvioidaan hyväksytty/hylätty. Arviointikriteerit löytyvät harjoittelun Tabulasta, erikoisaloittain olevien osuuksien alta. Katso jobiilista harjoittelusi luokittelu ja keskustele epäselvässä tilanteessa kriteerien valinnasta harjoitteluasi ohjaavan opettajan kanssa.

Harjoittelussa tehtävät tunnit:

4 viikkoa (6 op): Kokonaistuntimäätä on 162 h. Harjoittelussa tehtävät työtunnit ovat 153h/4 viikkoa
Huom! 1 pyhäpäivä osuessaan harjoitteluun, tuntimäärä on -8h .

Orientaatio 2 h
Reflektio koululla 4 h opettajan erikseen ilmoittamana ajankohtana, läsnäolovelvollisuus.
Jakson tehtävien tekeminen 3h.

Completion alternatives

Kevään 2020 poikkeustilasta johtuen opiskelija voi suorittaa harjoittelun tunnit myös lähihoitajan sijaisuudessa.
