Objectives (course unit)

Student is able to apply the animation principles into 2D and 3D animations.

Content (course unit)

Student works on 2D animation softwares and pre-rigged 3D-characters.

Student hasn't at least 50% attendance in lessons or all exercises aren't delivered.

Teaching methods

Lectures, hands on practices. Notice that during the autumn 2020 this course will be run online eventhough a classroom (40015 in Mediapolis) is preserved. Students may access the classroom but due to the corona situation social distancing needs to be practiced.

Completion alternatives

Would student have some knowledge on making animation, the course can be completed by just creating the task and possibly just finishing the final task (11secondsclub). In this case the lecturer in charge needs to be informed. (tuomo.joronen@tuni.fi)

At least 80% attendance of contact lessons. Excellent quality in all tasks and delivered in time. Final task demonstrates excellent adaptation of the animation principles into practice.
