Objectives (course unit)
The student is able to
- describe the methods used in smoke extraction and the smoke extraction as part of the event of fire
- seek information concerning ventilation solutions in special rooms
- research the regulations concerning ventilation in special rooms
Content (course unit)
Structural and mechanical smoke extraction. Official regulations and basics of design. Ventilation solutions in emergency shelters, electric equipment rooms, large kitchens, laboratories, lift engine rooms, archives, pools etc.

Air Conditioning 2 and Noise Control (5T00BE38) or equivalent
