Prerequisites for course Demonstration of Competence in Administering Medication and Resuscitating a Patient:
Participation in all middle stage`s nursing care courses. The course is completed in the final phase of the middle stage studies.

The course (exams and skills test) between 29.9.-13.12.2020
Part 1:Skills test: resuscitation (self-practice and test in class room P3-14. Separate instructions given during orientation lecture and in TuniMoodle.
Part 2 ja 3: Pharmacoterapy exam (online) and medical calculations online test. In Exam (book the time)

Pharmacotherapy online exam and medical calculations online test in Exam. The exams will open xxx. The first attempts should be done by xxx.
The student needs to take the first attempt in the first exams, then if needed, there will be two retake possibilities in both exams.
Retakes in Exam (the teacher will send the times and links for enrollments later).

Demonstration of Competence in Resuscitating a patient: You will find more detailed instructions from TuniMoodle. The timeframe for skills test is 29.9.-13.12. You should perform the test, take pictures of your test results (6) and add them in a designated platform in TuniMoodle course (this needs to be done by 13.12.2020).
Assessment methods and criteria
Part 1. Demonstration of Competence in Resuscitation a Patient
-To get this part accepted/passed you need to practice independently and do the resuscitation tests (compressions and ventilation) using Skills station "doll" fund in Kuntokatu 4, P3-14. You must reach minimum 85%. Instruction slides in TuniMoodle. Evaluation pass/fail.
Part 2. Pharmacotherapy online exam
Maximum points 100, the student need to have 70points to pass the exam. Evaluation pass/fail.
Part 3. Medical calculations online test
All the calculations must be 100% correct. Evaluation pass/fail.

Part 1. Demonstration of Competence in Resuscitating a Patient. Screenshots of pictures (6) of the resuscitation certificates to be returned in TuniMoodle, designated platform.
Part 2. Pharmacotherapy online exam
There can be true-false, multiple choice, combining words, open-ended questions. Multiple choice questions: wrong answers will deduct points from total points.
Maximum points 100, the student will need to have 70 points to pass the exam.
Exam time 60 minutes.
Part 3. Medical calculations online test
5 calculations
All the calculations must be 100% correct, you can use calculator.
Exam time 45 minutes.
