Objectives (course unit)

The student
-knows what the radiographer's profession contains in different environments
-knows how the radiographer's profession has developed
-knows the alternatives of the production of the structure of the service system of social-, health- and rehabilitation services
-knows the basic concepts of the economy of social- and health services

Content (course unit)

-the radiographer's profession before, now and in the future
-radiographer as an expert of the medical use of radiation: introductory period in imaging and/or radiotherapy
-social welfare and health care systems
-working life skills

Assessment criteria, pass/fail (course unit)

Pass:
-active participation in the group discussion
-the introductory period has been fully completed and the given tasks have been done acceptably

Fail:
-does not participate in teaching and group work
-neither carries out the introductory period fully nor makes given tasks acceptably
