Objectives (course unit)

The student knows how to
- work as a member of a forest work community and take care of his or her own well-being at work
- use information and communication technology
- act as an expert or responsible for the work of the team and utilize the skills learned in TUAS
- create personal working life connections and work in networks
- analyze and find the development targets in his/her own activities or those of the organization

Content (course unit)

Working in an organization, planning, monitoring and reporting of one's own work, practicing expert and supervisor work, utilizing information and communication technology at work, developing working life connections. Reporting practice and holding a presentation at a seminar.

Assessment criteria, pass/fail (course unit)

The student:
- provides a traineeship contract to the forestry degree program trainee supervisor before the traineeship begins
- works the required amount of training in the workplace corresponding to credits
- does the required practice learning tasks
- provides the required certificates upon completion of the training

The course is assessed on completed assignments and returned work certificates.

Student workload

The scope of the Practical Training for Expert Tasks course is determined by the duration of the work.
3.3 working days corresponds to one (1) credit.
One credit equals approximately 27 hours of work for the student.
