-know the structure and operating principles of Computed Tomography and CBCT devices
-know the principles of safe working in CT examinations and know how to act in cases of emergency
-know the most common CT examinations carried out to adults and children
-know how to guide patients in CT examinations
-know how to optimize the dose of radiation in CT examinations
-are able to name anatomic structures in a CT image and apply their knowledge of topographic anatomy in CT examinations
-are able to discern the findings discovered with CT

Mikäli opiskelija on sairauden tai muun pakottavan syyn vuoksi pois teoriatunneilta (80% tai 100 % läsnäolovaatimus), voi opiskelija osoittaa perehtyneisyytensä tunnilla käsiteltyyn asiaan kirjoittamalla tiivistelmän lähdeviitteineen kyseisellä kerralla käsitellyistä asioista. Opiskelija selvittää itse tunnilla käsitellyt asiat ja etsii itse lähdemateriaalin. Yksi poissaolotunti / yksi tekstisivu (A4 paperi, riviväli 1.15, fontti 12) + lähdeluettelo.
