Objectives (course unit)
During this course students will learn to know how management accounting differs in companies and organisations of different sizes and fields of business.
After completing the course students will
- know how different companies perform management accounting in practice
- know some business intelligence software
- recognise appropriate financial calculations for various organisations
- understand the impact of working capital on companies’ profitability
- be able to illustrate companies’ management accounting procedures and give some development ideas

What is the role of IT systems in management accounting?
How do companies manage their working capital?

Location and time
Online education according to current schedule. Some Zoom contact meetings may be substituted by independent work of groups. Changes will be informed on Moodle.
Exam schedules
No exam, grading is based on exercises given on Moodle.
Assignments graded 0-5 are given separately on Moodle.
In addition, some of the exercises are graded passed/failed, and they must be passed to get the final grade of this course.

Grading is based on exercises given on Moodle. Active attendance at guest lectures given online via Zoom highly appreciated.
